1. Login at https://hub.business.pa.gov/
2. Search business name
3. Click on "FILE AMENDMENT"
4. Select “Certificate of Amendment – Domestic Limited Partnership / Limited Liability Company”
5. Business details is pre-filled with your LLC’s File Number, current name, and company type.
6. If you want to change the structure to PLLC or restricted, check the first option. If not, check the box for “I do not want to change the subtype of the association.”
7. If changing the LLC name, input the new name.
8. Effectiveness of Filing: Filing date/future date (back-dating is not allowed)
9. Choose whether to get notifications from the state by mail or by email.
10. Change registered agent information if needed
11. Additional details - for additional amendments like manager's change and any other amendment
12. Restated Certificate of Organization - Leave this box unchecked
13. Review filing
14. Signature page - Check the boxes. Add your full name and click "Today" as signature.
